I completed both my undergraduate degree and my Master of Science degree in nutrition at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I completed my dietetic internship at Emory University School of Medicine.
I am a registered dietitian and a licensed nutritionist with over 30 years of clinical experience. While my primary area of practice has been in the area of pediatric gastroenterology, I see both adults and children with gastrointestinal related health problems. Is has pursed the practice of functional and integrative nutrition for the past 7 years.
I am a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly the American Dietetic Association) and the following Academy practice groups: Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine; Medical Nutrition Practice Group; Nutrition Entrepreneurs; and Pediatric Nutrition.
